Browser Memory Extension
Effective date: June 20, 2026 · Publisher: iamristaf (Nishant Creations)
Overview
Browser Memory is a browser extension that helps you remember what you were doing online — a searchable timeline of pages and PDFs you've visited, where you left off reading, and what you were researching. It is built around one rule: your browsing activity stays on your device. This section explains exactly what that means in practice.
What Browser Memory Stores
When you browse with Browser Memory installed, it records the following directly into your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) — never on a remote server: — Page URL, title, domain, and favicon — Timestamps of when a page was first and last opened — Time spent actively on a page (paused automatically when your browser is unfocused or your system is idle) — Scroll position and an estimated reading-progress percentage — For PDFs (online or local files), the current page number and total page count If you upgrade to Browser Memory Pro, you may additionally choose to add: — Custom names, notes, and tags on individual activities — Project and Collection groupings you create yourself — Named snapshots of your currently open tabs, for later restoration All of the above is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. None of it is transmitted to us, to any analytics service, or to any third party, at any time.
The One Network Request Browser Memory Makes
The only time Browser Memory's extension contacts a server is when you activate or periodically revalidate a Pro license. In that request, we send: — The license key you entered — A randomly generated device identifier (not derived from any personal or hardware-identifying information) We do not send your browsing history, page titles, URLs, notes, tags, projects, or any other locally stored activity data as part of this or any other request. This is enforced architecturally: the code responsible for license activation has no access to the code or data responsible for activity tracking.
What We Do Not Collect
Browser Memory does not collect, and has no mechanism to collect: — Your name, email address, or other personally identifying information (unless you separately choose to provide an email when purchasing a Pro license on our website — see below) — Health information — Financial or payment information — Passwords, credentials, or authentication data belonging to you or any site you visit — Personal communications (emails, messages, chats) — Your physical location, IP-based or otherwise — The actual content of pages you visit (text, images, video) — we store metadata like the title and URL, not the page's content
Purchasing Browser Memory Pro
Browser Memory Pro is a one-time, lifetime purchase. Payment is processed by Razorpay through a page on iamristaf.in, separate from the extension itself. During checkout: — You may optionally provide an email address, used only for our own purchase records and to help you recover your license key if needed. This is not required to activate or use Pro. — Payment details (card numbers, UPI IDs, etc.) are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us. See Razorpay's privacy policy for how they handle payment data. — We store the license key, purchase date, and activation count associated with your license, so we can validate it when your extension checks in. This record contains no browsing data of any kind.
Data Retention and Deletion
— You control how long Browser Memory keeps your activity history via the "Maximum activities stored" and auto-cleanup settings inside the extension. — Uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored activity data, settings, projects, collections, and snapshots — this data does not exist anywhere else for us to retain. — If you purchased Pro, your license record (key, purchase date, activation count, and optional email) is retained on our servers so the license remains valid if you reinstall the extension. You may request deletion of this record at any time by contacting us at support@nlang.in.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose. The only third-party services involved at all are Razorpay, solely for processing Pro purchase payments, and Supabase, our database provider, which stores license records (key, purchase date, activation count, optional email) — never browsing activity.
Children's Privacy
Browser Memory is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).
